A lot to learn!...but is flipping really the way to start?

Thanks for your advance. However, I don't do anything without further teaching or much research. Depending on the property I will make a sound decision on rather or not I should flip or hold. I got into investing to learn the ropes to what I want to do. Some may feel, as yourself that flipping is to big of a project starting out. Everything is a lesson learned to me. Therefore, yes flipping and holding is what I want to start out doing. Thanks for your cents. I cash in all advices.

Hi Everyone,

My name is DaShay and I am a day old newbie. I live in Savannah, Georgia and have been wanting to invest in real estate for a long time. However, I didn't know who to turn to or how to make it happen. Furthermore, I found this website over a year ago browsing the web and still didn't do anything. Currently, I am back and ready to take action.

I am reading "The Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Real Estate Investing" and J. Scotts books to follow. My niche is Flipping houses and renting. I will look into other areas after I become comfortable and establish in those first. I signed up to my local REIA and will attend my first meeting next month. I am like a sponge for more knowledge and sometimes feel uncomfortable when I don't have enough of it, like in real estate. When it comes to real estate I need some type of layout, a first action plan. I am so glad that I took this time to come back here because the information that I'm finding is priceless.

I wanted to reach out to the forum and make myself known which is the total opposite from my personality. However, I must say that it feels good to network and get to meet new people. Thanks in advance to all who have put so much work into this site. I am forever grateful for all your help.
