Hello All,

I am looking for a reliable attorney based in Las Vegas to review some contracts I plan on using; and hopefully use for legal counsel going forward. Does anyone have any suggestions or reviews from past experience?

Looking to get a conversation started on choosing an out of state market.

The market where I live isn’t the best for cash flow. With that being my main goal in finding buy and hold properties it’ll be a better use of time to look elsewhere.

Hoping you all can help me out without a few suggestions on what to keep an eye on when researching and comparing markets?

I'm looking for a duplex or triplex that I can use the BRRRR strategy and start creating some financial independence.

Thanks!

@Joe Splitrock thanks for the breakdown. Really helpful.

@Jason Franklin @Grant Rothenburger @Michael Tucker @Braden C. Thanks for all your input. I will be chewing on these over the holiday break to get a good overall perspective.

Good luck in 2019!

Hello All,

Looking to take the leap into REI in 2019 and am attempting to arm myself with as much knowledge as possible.

I am currently reading “Difficult conversations”, any other suggestions?

I appreciate everyone's input. I'm going to check into the local REIA's and dive into the webinars and podcast. It already feels good to be a part of this community.

Hello Everyone!

I am currently taking my true first steps to being a real estate investor. I grew up here in Las Vegas and have been here all my life besides leaving for college. Went to school in San Diego (Go Toreros), where I played basketball and got my first introduction to REI. The introduction was being able to shadow an investor who was executing his exit strategy and retiring to Hawaii! During my time with him, I was able to begin to wrap my head around real estate and how it could change my life- allow me the freedom that I never thought was possible until that moment.

I've been working in the banking industry for the last 3 years since graduating, and after finding bigger pockets earlier this year I have finally decided I've done enough sitting back waiting, dreaming, and planning for the future. The only way to get to those goals is action. So, this is my formal introduction to the bigger pockets community.

I envision myself being a wholesaler, building up to flipping, then rental properties, and finally building up the capital to take on commercial properties in the future. With some hard work (lots of it), great mentors, and smart decisions (also a bit of luck), I have no doubt I can turn my dreams into reality. Looking forward to this adventure!
