Ok so I’m not sure if “taking my first step” is the right title for this since I have a property I’m currently living in that is paid in full and in need of a ton of renovations. That being said I currently have $10,000 and a poor credit score, I’m looking for advice on my next step. So far the only suggestion I have for myself is build my credit and maybe by this time next year I’ll have a good enough score to get a down payment on my first mortgage. Problem with that is I don’t really want to wait a whole year.
