Quote from @Jonathan Styer:

I would start by calling them up and voicing your concerns about the length of time it is taking to find a tenant. If they are getting applications why is nothing coming to fruition? Three months is long enough to find a tenant, so something is wrong. Either it is the rental amount or something with the property. Your PM should be the expert and help to decipher the issue with you. If they can't help after you call and express concerns, look for a new PM.

Thank you all for the response. To clarify a few things, we started working 3 months ago but the property was listed on 12/25. So it has not been on the market for 3 months, but still a long time. We have an open communication line where they tell me about number of applications, number of approvals and etc. My concern is how do I know if they are telling the truth? Since they can't show me the details in the application, Is there a way for me to check if we actually making progress? Or do you think property managers wouldn't lie about these things?

Hi,

I'm currently working with a property manager to lease my our property. It has been 3 months and we have yet to land a tenant. Periodically I get update from the property manager about new applications, but is there any way to check if the information they provide is real? How do I know if the they are actually making progress?
