Congratulations! How you have liked the experience so far?

Getting started at your age is going to be a great benefit. Keep at it. The rewards can be fantastic.

Do you have a plan on what you want to learn? Do you plan to stick strictly with rentals? Or, learn about things like tax lien acquisition strategies, flipping, forced appreciation, and a flurry of other ways that real estate can make money and build wealth?

Thanks Ron! I went to Loras College, so I've spent some time in Dubuque myself! I have an interest in getting involved with student rentals there at some point.

Rentals are definitely where most of my interest lies, but I'm also intrigued by flipping and I'm sure my interests will grow as I learn more.

Hello everybody! I grew up in central Iowa and now find myself living just outside of Green Bay, WI. I have had an interest in real estate since I first started renting in college but have just begun to learn more about real estate investing. My short term goal is to continue learning about real estate and get my start in real estate investing with a house hack within the next two years. Long term, I'd like to have a portfolio of cash flowing rental properties that will allow my family and I to travel as we wish and not be committed to a typical 9 to 5 job.

Hey @Josh Johnston, I'm just starting my journey in real estate and have also been looking for an opportunity to learn while I work. Currently I've applied and am set to interview for a job as a part time leasing agent at an apartment complex in my area. Ideally it will allow me to experience working with tenants and get some hands on experience while working weekends. There may be something similar worth checking out after you make your move.

Best of luck!
