Sorry, should've clarified - I have a new job in Spring House so I'm hoping to move in the area as soon as the market settles a bit. I'm currently in North nj. Looking for ~10% cap rate if possible

Hi guys,

I'm looking to make my first property purchase in PA and I'd like it to be income producing. Right now, I'm thinking of 2+ br townhouses, condos, apartments, or duplex's where I can rent out a room/portion. I just got a job in Spring House and I'd like for it to be within a 40 minute drive. I was hoping there'd be a university presence nearby. Problem is, I've lived in NJ my whole life so I know essentially nothing about PA living so I can't tell which cities will be good to invest in. I appreciate any advice.

Hello BP community! My name is Danish and I've lived in NJ my whole life. Mostly around Central but also in North Jersey. I graduated from school a few years ago and now that I have a stable income coming my way I'm looking to get into rental property investing.

I've always been heavily invested in the stock market and cryptocurrencies. Unfortunately, when it comes to real estate I'm not to clear in what I'm doing just yet. I know I'd like to start out with a rental property in Central or South Jersey, maybe a town with an active college community. From what I've read online North Jersey wouldn't give me the best bang for my buck. I do wish at times I knew people in real life that would teach me more but unfortunately I don't.

If you would like to connect and share ideas please let me know!

It was great having the opportunity to introduce myself to such an active REI community!

I'm looking to connect with anyone in Jersey to bounce ideas off. I'm just starting out and would love some guidance.
