This is a property I am considering purchasing. It is a HUD property and the power is currently off. HUD lists the AC as damaged. I need someone (maybe with a generator) to test the AC for me, and give me an estimate on what it would cost to repair. Is it realistic to ask an HVAC contractor for this?

House is a 2000 square foot house in gastonia its a HUD property and the power is off. HUD lists HVAC (heater, AC and ducts as damaged) I am trying to come up with a worst case estimate of how much those three things would cost to replace (I can get prices for the materials) but not show how many feet of duct would be needed to replace, and how much the labor would cost

Would it work as an AirBnB, Student Housing or a Rent To Own? Can you add an In Law Unit in the Garage/Back Yard?
