Welcome. Similar goals here myself as well. 

My interest in the RE world is still there, but a recent move plus a new addition to the family, plus our handyman business booming like it has been has kept me from being on here and continuing my reading as planned. Still trying to learn where I can though!

As of right now I am reading and learning. This is a new world to me, and a bit of a career change so to speak as well. I can see myself getting into fix and flips. I like the idea of building my own retirement through real estate so long term rentals interests me as well.

I apologize for the delayed response. Work has been keeping me pretty busy. Along side my normal job I have been doing some work on families properties that are were getting ready to up for sale, and another for new renters.

Thanks  @Mark Nolan. Will check out that link. Been skipping between podcasts, posts, and write-ups by many members.

I do read stickies, and will have a profile picture up as soon as possible. I am also a huge fan of forums with good "search" functions to help satisfy all of my curiosity. Looking to learn as much as possible and give back where I can.
