Thank you for the response.  The aspect of buying and selling without the headache of repair, remodel or tenant issues is what I find the most appealing.  I've already got a salaried position which demands more hours than it pays (like they all do), so something with minimal hands on requirement in my spare time would be ideal.

I just finished reading Dirt Rich and it's peaked my interest in the possibilities of land investment.  So I figured I'd start poking around and see what I can find out.  Any advice?
