The home is a rental property which I'll either move back into or sell in 2-5 years.

Thanks Jennifer!  I hadn't considered quartz.  Almost the entire house is painted agreeable gray.  Did you go with a black or white quartz?  Any concern using the white or black quartz with the beige-ish tile?
