They are all vacant, I have the permits, the contractors I am using have been vetted and highly recommended so I can only assume they are reliable. From scope of work perspective I will be doing a heavy up, replacing some plumbing pipes, updating the kitchen and bathrooms, resurfacing and staining the floors which are hardwood, redoing the trim, and painting.

I recently bought a 4 unit in DC that will require a cosmetic rehab for the most part outside of a heavy up and replacing some of the plumbing. Based on your experience how long would this type of project take to rehab?

Hello my name is Danielle Toval. I am currently a financial analyst at Deloitte, but I am interested in making real estate investing a part of my long term investment portfolio. I have been reading up on a few investment books and taken a specific interest in buying and holding multi family residences. By August of next year I plan to invest in my first property. Currently I am in a phase where I am trying to build up my network and expertise. Hopefully I can create mutually beneficial relationships here on Bigger Pockets.
