@Joe Moore @Dmitriy Fomichenko Thanks for the welcome!

@Stewart Vargas-Sosa Will send a PM.

@David Faulkner I've considered LA, but price point is too high, and difficult to find cash flowing properties.  Willing to look further and learn more if you can help point me in the right direction!

@Ingrid J. I have not visited the area yet.  Will probably plan a trip once I find some properties of interest.  Seems that focus is more on single family than multi in Jacksonville area.  However, I'm also looking for multi family if possible.

@Tom Ott, @Bradley De comarmond Thanks for the warm welcome.  Looking forward to the journey!

@Deborah Pyburn Thanks, replied to your PM!

@Stewart Vargas-Sosa Haven't considered vacation homes, but will look into it!

@Roey Marom Thanks for the advice!  I know Jacksonville is a big area, it's good to know that opportunities can be found.

@Jeff Schechter Sure thing.  Will leave my options open and reach out if I have any questions on TK.

@Andrew Ashby I'd be interested to see the market reports for Orlando.  Will PM.

@Corey Clarkston

@Corey Clarkston Will definitely reach out if I decide to go turnkey.

Hello, Bigger Pockets!  I've been browsing the forums for awhile, and looking to start taking some actions towards my first investment.  I'm an IT professional currently living in Los Angeles area, and I'm looking for buy and hold strategy out of state.  My goal for this year is to acquire at least one property with cash flow.

I've been researching some areas to invest in, and I've narrowed down my search to single family in Orlando / Jacksonville Florida.  I'm also open to other areas that can cash flow.  Other areas I've been looking at are Atlanta, Indiana, Ohio.  I'm looking for investor friendly agents, and trustworthy property managers.

Looking forward to learning more about real estate investing and connecting with other BP members!
