Fantastic podcast! Hal and David are both extremely inspiring. I've been following the Miracle Morning for several weeks now and it has greatly increased my productivity and improved my mood throughout the day.

@Rodney Thompson

Hi Rodney, welcome to the forums! I recently did my first deal and BiggerPockets played a significant role in giving me the confidence to do it. I hope you and your wife have the same experience!

@Conor Funk

Hi Conor, Just this year I began getting up earlier than necessary to spend time working on myself every morning and I've found it to be absolutely invaluable. Every morning before doing anything else I spend time exercising, writing down my goals/things I have to do to achieve them, and reading. I love being up before everyone else and I've found I actually have MORE energy throughout the day even though I'm getting up between 4:30-5:00. It's also nice to be wide awake and ready to go once I get to work as opposed to still being groggy and half asleep.

The most recent BiggerPockets Podcast had Hal Elrod on it and he is the author of "Miracle Morning" which you may want to read if you haven't already. It's difficult to get started but once you are in the habit of being up early you will be far more productive throughout the day; good luck!

@Daniel Kiran

Hi Dan, I was in the same boat as you are for quite a while. I had spent an enormous amount of time reading/listening to podcasts and felt lost because there were so many different routes to take. Eventually, I decided I was just going to decide what route to pursue and take action. I settled on small multi-family (2-4 units) and purchased my first duplex a few months ago. In hindsight, I wish I had done this six months ago! The amount of knowledge/confidence I've gained from this first small deal has been absolutely invaluable.

Even if something ends up going wrong with this property or with a tenant it's not going to bankrupt me and the education I've received will allow me to go out and find more deals. There are many ways to make money in real estate. Pick one and pursue it with a passion and I'm sure you, like me, will be very happy that you did!

This was an excellent show! Paul offered a tremendous amount of actionable information. I will definitely be listening to it several more times as there was so much good info.

Hi everyone, my name is Dan Haberkost and I’ve been on BP for several months but am just now getting around to introducing myself. I was first introduced to real estate investing about a year ago by a coworker and ever since I have immersed myself in it as much as possible. I discovered BP several months ago it has by far been the most valuable source of information I’ve found and has definitely allowed me to shorten the learning curve. This year I’ve finished my degree and purchased my first investment property (duplex) while working my normal job. I’ve spent the last several years working 80-100 hours a week and do not intend to do so forever and I believe real estate is my key to financial independence! I’ve lived in Ohio my whole life but am moving to Colorado Springs in July to be closer to family. From there I intend to purchase a 2nd (larger) property by the end of the year. My reason for using BiggerPockets is to learn as much as I can, help others learn when possible, and meet other like-minded individuals. I look forward to interacting with you all on the forums!
