Post: Anyone using Smart Sheets? Compare to Microsoft project?

My Day job as of now is as an IT Professional, but do manage all of our team's out of state investing.  I am a super user of Microsoft Project and have used Smart Sheets before.   I have to say though, we managing everything on a simple Google Sheet and have all back up documentation inside a Folder on Google Drive.  We run our business with Quickbooks Online, Slack and the lowest tier Google Enterprise services.  So most of our solutions for workflow come from the Google World of solutions.

Google has a great break down of how to run a project over sheets, have linked it below.  We don't follow it exactly, but we have modified it to make it work for us.

https://support.google.com/a/users/answer/9310193?hl=en

Hope this helps, as just an option to consider. Our Property managers and Contractors are all invited and utilize our Google Drive folders for projects, both in the field and from their offices.

Great advice @Chris Mason on outsourcing all of the webdesign around the website.  In the title of the post you also mentioned email (Assuming business email).  I would for sure check out https://gsuite.google.com/pricing.html for 12 dollars a month and a business email address and domain, you really can't beat it. My partner and I run everything within Gsuite as far as our systems for our small REI partnership. We don't have a website yet, but as Chris mentioned we will be outsourcing someone to create us a simple site with Google Sites and host it in our Gsuite service when ready.

My partner and I always look to be audit prof and be as tax advantaged as possible and have had an accountant involved even before the first property and now as we have closed on our 13th and completed a full year of tax returns going on Year 2 we could not be more grateful we did.  I would check in with @Brandon Hall  their website is www.TheRealEstateCPA.com   we are current clients of theirs and would highly recommend.

Agree with you @James Mc Ree more info is needed.  I have been researching blockchain implications for a while now, and there are just a ton of holes that still need to be plugged.

Below is a good article to wrap your head around it.  My advice would be to not muddy up your Asset with any STO action.

Whats is your budget and will this be with you all the time or mainly on your desk at home? I am an IT Professional as my W-2, so can give you some solid recommendations.  You already defined your use, but budget and use frequency come into play.   I personally use a Google Pixel 3, and Google Pixel Book for everything and carry both with me almost everywhere.  I do own Mac and Windows machines, but found chromebooks meet all my needs.  DM me if you want to connect and review in more detail.

@Jay Hinrichs Appreciate all the advice and discussions this past year as my partner @Rico Nasol and I have started down our investment journey.  You have been more than generous with your time and email responses.  Will continue to keep learning and growing our business so we can be more involved more than donations at some point in time as this scales nationwide, there is no doubt it will get there.  As a USAF Veteran myself, I completely understand how much this effort can change some peoples lives.
