Post: So what's holding you back?

For me it's a fear of not really knowing what I am doing and a lack of capital. When I passed my state EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) exam, a paramedic instructor I had took me under his wing and taught me everything I needed to know to be a great EMT. I have reached out to a couple of friends I have that are already RE investors, but none seem to eager to take someone "under their wing." I have been searching for properties that I think have potential but no one to lean on and say "hey, what do you think about this?"

Either way the courses that agents take have an abundance of information that could help any investor. Even if you don't want to be an agent than I'd suggest still reading some of the training material anyways just for the knowledge. Plus if you do decide to get your license than you can get commission on deals that you are already making money on. Nothing wrong with bumping up your returns a little extra bit.

 THANK YOU FOR THE ADVICE.

Hope this helps

Money. I’d like to get started but not having the capital to pull the trigger is holding me back.

I am just starting out and have possibly found a property I am interested in. I am interested in a rental property strategy so I’m not looking to flip. Should I go for the real estate license anyway to make things easier when I go for a few more properties or when I want to sell this one (if I get it)?
