Thank you for the advice on the podcast.  I used to listen to it a couple of years ago.  Real estate has been bouncing around in my head for a while and I decided it is time to commit to a course of action.  Just listened to the latest episode.

I'm from Newbury Park CA and I'm looking to get into buy and holds.  I had an excellent conversation with a friend earlier today and among his recommendations was to get active in the Bigger Pockets community.  So here I am.  My goal is to get into some rental properties in the Midwest and get some cash flow.  I don't need the money so I want to reinvest every dollar into the business.  Then in a few yeas I hope to walk away from my job programming computers.

So here I am and my main goal is laid out.  Accountability is on me, but truth be told, any failure is really that of this website... :)
