Just wondering how you STR is doing in Oakhurst? Is the market saturated with STR's?

Hey Hans. I'm looking for my first investment also. I started a few years ago briefly but got side tracked. I'm looking in Sacramento/Fresno CA and possibly near you outside of Las Vegas. The suburbs and outer areas appear to be the hot markets.

Thanks Ravi.

Any particular areas you are looking at?

Thanks Scott.

I've been working with some realtors in Sacramento for multi-family units but the ROI isn't very good so far. Will probably head up there in April for several days to look around.

Phoenix has had pretty steady population growth for several decades now and it's relatively affordable.

Like you I've been checking numerous places around the country trying to find decent returns.

Hi all.

I'm new to real estate investment and looking to potentially work with others on getting into real estate. I have some capital available and good construction knowledge. (My profession is Software Engineer but I have home renovation background). I live in San Jose, CA but I'm looking to invest outside of Bay Area.  Looking at Sacramento area, Phoenix and areas with a "lower barrier" to entry. Ultimate goal is 5+ unit complexes but looking to start smaller 2 - 4. But that depends on whether or not people are interested in teaming up.

Thanks,

Dan
