Hello fellow investors!

I got into RE after my other investments didn't perform as I wished. On top of that, my family has always been investing in RE, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

I recently bought a multi-family in Detroit, MI and almost completed repairs. New tenants should move in soon. I find the market to have good cash-on-cash returns, though property appreciation won't be as good as here in California.

I'm now in the process of getting a mortgage on this property. From what I found, it can be a challenge if it's deeded to an LLC.

Happy investing to everyone on the forum!!
