Now you are asking about house hacking in Baltimore, but you don't know anything about Baltimore and you live in New Jersey...

Am I the only one confused?

Why is this confusing ? I’m exploring options and trying to learn ? Don’t see how that affects anyone.

Hi Everyone,

Im just starting out and am having a hard time knowing how to structure deals. I got a proposal from someone who found a single family home inNJ for 185k , the property needs about 30k in Reno and can potentially sell for 230k . My part in the deal would the Reno. In other words, id be putting up the money and work for the Reno. however, I don't know how to structure this so I can make a profit from this. Does anyone have any tips on how to structure deals?

Hey Jordan , is this a Bigger pockets podcast ? Id like to learn more about this business , I dont have much knowledge in it .

Hi Daniela, it is not a Bigger Pockets podcast but you can find it through Chris' website. They have an Open Mic every Thursday which has quickly become one of the most helpful resources (outside of BP forums) that I've found. Also make sure to check out Scott Carson's videos on YouTube/Vimeo. He has great content. Hope that helps!

 Thanks Jordan !

Thank you for the advice !

Hi Everyone,

Im looking to purchase my first home and have been looking into the Ridgefield Park, Little Ferry , NJ areas.

Im looking for a two family home.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they have invested here and what their experience has been? Is it hard to rent here ? I heard little Ferry is a flood zone, however how bad does it get? Im from . NY and have little Experience in NJ .

Id appreciate any information
