Your GC should be helping you with that.  When I do my construction jobs with investors I always handle the permits so I'm a little confused why their not helping you with this?

My electrician got the flu and dropped the ball on me for some of my jobs. I need a recommendation for an electrician that is investor friendly.  I have 3 projects going right now I need to get done. So.....

Don't get discouraged, there are deals out there. I have run across 4 plexes and 3 plexes for under $400k from wholesalers. Until you get here and network and can look yourself it's going to be hard. I agree with Matthew, that area in Gresham is pretty rough. I also like the idea of a SFR and adding an ADU.

Thanks @Phillip Pommier for the mention, yes we are very busy. However, I'm lining up work for 60 days from now and can take a look at your house with you.  I have some great plumbing and electrical subs otherwise my own employees do the work.  I couldn't look at anything until next week though.

It would be great to meet up and share experiences. I trying to expand my knowledge and build my REI business. I'm a General Contractor and I only work on investors projects and gain a lot of insight on how different investors approach things. I will be at that meetup on the 17th and it would be great if you can make it. Oh, and I've had a few beers at your Scholls Ferry location!
