Hi Jeff. I only work in maybe a 15 mile radius from Rockland. But I do expand that for contacts and assured work

You will be amazed how well it works. Do not be afraid that you'll accidentally make a huge hole that will require alot of patching afterward. The chimney is so heavy that it makes that problem impossible. Start by focussing on one half of one brick. It will take about 5-10 full force strikes to punch it out,and by  its  nature, only one half brick will break out at a time.  Then use a hammer and chisel if super accuracy is desired to chip away the rest of the hole.

The ONLY easy way is to literally smash it in with a hammer and then patch around the pipe after it's installed. Other than that you're talking ridiculous time with a coring machine.

wow yeah that's a tricky one. these things are tough to advise on if I can't see them. Do you have any photos? You can email them to me or text them to me. Email is better for quality though.

What I can say though is that tying into hollow brick shouldn't be a problem. As long as you use the right drills and what not. We do it all the time. Believe it or not the mortar joint would be the best place to drill into.

Hi Jonathan. I'm in the same boat. Completely new. Just joined this site today and am ordering books now. I'm from Rockland MA. But i am also interested in the NH market. Perhaps we can be mutually helpful to each other.
