@Greg M.

I do undrestand a high deductible Health Plan is required to set up a HSA, can the premium be paid out of the HSA as well? Investments made through the HSA when they pay off are not counted the same way as payroll contributions, because they are owned by the HSA they are tax exempt as well.

Greg, what you're saying is true and you have experience to back it up. I'm just hoping you're not missing a big opportunity to fund your HC needs in a way that is self sustaining, and help others do so as well.

@Greg M.

While all of this is true, is there any reason you can't use your HSA for investments as you would a self directed IRA or 401k?

I mean it seams to me if I can get a $10,000 contribution from rentals it would be that much less that I would need to contribute from my personal income...

Are there specific medical or dental incidents that can not be covered by an HSA?

@E.S. Burrell

Setting up a Health Savings Account that you self manage can be a significant way to take care of all of your health and dental needs, writing off these expenses on taxes as you go. The DMV requires a $50,000 deposite for self insurance. The self directed HSA much like the self directed IRA or 401k has significant tax advantages too.

After considerable research I'm kicking off a program to do home hydrogen conversions. Across the country the general price for water is about $7/1000 gallons. It takes 5 gallons of water to generate an amount equivalent to a gallon of gas. So roughly $7/200 gallons of gas. Running the generator on the hydrogen thus produced and replacing the Natural Gas used in the home or business just makes sense. For a 20 unit building this would result in $150/unit/month that can be captured from utility companies for an annual cash flow of about $180,000 added to rentscurrently being charged, in addition to immediately added equity.

This technology is also scalable and adaptable to automotive and trucking applications.

Hi Mario,

I used to live in San Onofre. Went to school in San Clemente. What appealed to you about architecture? How long have you been at it?

Have you considered Zero Energy Net construction?

Currently have a contract for 1/2 an acre, plan to build my first home. With that I plan to finance construction of 11 more units, and leveraging these to build a recycling center.
