Hello,

Currently have two properties. Just used my primary house loan in July and Looking to purchase another. Since I just used my primary house loan with 5% down instead of 3.5%, do I need to bring 20% to the table for the next deal if I want to purchase before next year? Is there any ways around bringing 20%?

I’m in Long Island and currently have two rentals but the properties are very expensive. I’m looking to invest out of state with some lower prices and have been looking into Texas and Florida. It’s difficult to know the areas that are up and coming without knowing anything about the real estate markets there. I looked online and at some houses on Zillow but there is a lot to choose from. Also looking to invest in a place where I would like to go and vacation too so I can check up on the property as well.

Anyone have some good areas that are up and coming throughout the US? Texas? Florida?

@DAn L. Sounds like a good idea as long as it’s all legal. I’m not sure about the legalities.

Are you buying the tiny homes from a certain company? If so which one are you looking at? I’m interested in doing this in Long Island.

Thinking about purchasing a lot of land in Long Island and very interested in the Tiny Home Movement. Anybody have experience, advice and information on Tiny Homes in New York, and specifically Long Island?

I was looking into hard money lenders for buying an auctioned house online. Can someone describe their process of buying an auctioned house with a hard money lender and other steps in buying an auctioned house? How long did the process take until the house was fully yours? If you buy the house with people inside, can you re-list it and sell it right after without removing them?

Any information on the auction process would be great.

Hey phil, You mean they don't like when someone buys it and sells it right away? I was actually looking into that.

Does anyone know how long the process is with buying an auctioned house?

@Mike Zins thanks mike. A lot of that sounds foreign to me but I will try to research and understand it better.

@Frank Geiger most foreclosures in Long Island, or the good ones at least, go directly to auction or are cash only
