I've never done this but really would like to hear the solution. I love FSBO's and plan to do my first investment that way. I have mentors on BP who will handle this for me when I find the right property but I'd love to contribute some knowledge when I ask for the favor lol.

Interesting question. Look forward to experienced investors jumping in on this. My thought is trying a duplex for my first investment and living on one side. I'm south of Orlando so I'm not sure the markets are equivalent .

I've wondered the same thing. I know it is considered a vehicle but I never considered who could deal in them. Very interested to learn me even though I can't see myself trying to invest in Mobile Homes.

I agree with the comments above about representing yourself. I'm sorry to hear about your job and it will make CES less fun. Same thing happened to me at CES 2013 lol but I'm now working with contacts I made at that very show you never know what will happen.  I'm interested in what niche you are going into and I wish you luck.

Interesting thread here to say the least but I wanted to chime in.  Pet insurance worked great for me. I rescued a dog missing an eye and issues in the remaining eye. It made sense to me because I felt like anytime there was any issue with the remaining eye, I wanted it tended to by a professional.  As the dog aged it paid off for me for plenty of other reasons.

I doubt I would go down the same path with a young and healthy pet but would consider it again as the pet was older than lets say, 5 or 6, or had some health issues.
