Post: Made a mistake and bought a Timeshare

I am currently saving to buy a multifamily house while paying down debt to increase my credit score. As I am reviewing my finances I have begun to rethink a Timeshare that I purchased in 2015. I would like to cancel/rescind the contract that I am currently in because each payment that I make on my "mortgage" and maintenance fees is slowing me down from saving for my multifamily.

I would like to know if anyone has any information on how to cancel the timeshare without going through a company where i have to pay lawyers to get out of the contract.

Any input is appreciated.

Thank you

Two late student loan pmts made in 2015 are hindering my mortgage application from being approved.  All other pmt history on student loans has been current and some credit card debt which is current.  Not sure how to move forward. Any advice is appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Good afternoon, I am a newbie looking to jump into the market in about 6-7 months. I have received a preapproval from my credit union with an estimated monthly payment which is higher than I'm comfortable with. I'm currently saving for my 3 1/2% down pmt for the FHA loan and closing costs. As I save I understand that banks want to see available assets to reduce the risk in making the loan.

What is a good asset mix that I should have as I save for my first duplex purchase?

I currently have some stocks, small CD, and ok lendable credit score. I want my first purchase to go as smooth as possible and look good to the banks as I apply for a loan. Any advice is appreciated.

Thank you

Good evening everyone, I just received my EIN number. Should I immediately apply for my DUNS number now to begin building business credit?
