Calling all Newbies, Wholesalers, Seasoned Investors, and/or Real Estate junkies! We are having another networking event and you are invited. At this meeting we will start by discussing that age old question…to LLC or not to LLC. As we get close to the tax season it's the perfect time to decide if you want to start your LLC, S-Corp, or other type of legal entity. There are pro's and con's to each, and tax advantages even if you don't currently own real estate. Our speaker for this event is Kimi Ellen…. she is a licensed CPA in the State of Illinois, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois CPA Society, and a member of the National Association of Black Accountants. Kimi has educated me on several advantages to starting my LLC and how I can take advantage of its tax benefits this year. Even if you don't currently own real estate this meeting is a great opportunity to learn the advantages of having a CPA as part of your real estate investment team. As always there will be wine and networking as well.

Guys my name is Damone Williams I’m not a new investor but failed so bad my first time investing maybe I should start all over again. After listening to numerous podcast and audio books, I have decided to try and get back out there and try again. Rather than taking “baby steps” … I’m jumped in the pool with both feet. I decided to host a Chicago South Side meet-up. This will be the 2nd of hopefully many more. It’s an opportunity for like-minded people to talk real estate and exchange experiences. We will be discussing Credit, Credit Karma, Lender Scores (what they are actually looking at and looking for), how to make your loan more appealing to under writers, and how to raise your score in 30 days

We hope to get both the newbie (like me) and the experienced pro as well.
