Thanks @Andrew Garcia. The issue is the tax identification number for non-residents, I understand you have to use special online services, or actually travel to an authorized provider and show your passport/visa. I found a service (firstabse.io) that apparently does it online and gives you a delaware LLC, but was wondering if having an out of state LLC creates any tax or other disadvantages?

I would be happy to be introduced to another potential financing company.

I Reside outside the United States and am currently looking to purchase a rental property in Florida, likely the Jacksonville area. Is there anything unique to take into consideration in the legal set up process (getting tax identification, etc) as a foreign investor.

i already spoke to a broker about financing, got indicative terms and have the 30% down-payment, but  any recommendations on lenders that are great/flexible for foreign investors?

Would love to connect with any foreign investor that has done this already.
