I'd check the water shut off valves (under sinks) - if they are "old" knob style, id try to turn them to shut off the water and see if they leak (they do tend to do it over time) - replacement can be costly because it will require water shut off to the entire building (unless you have the individual main water shut off) - it will have to be done thru HOA, increasing cost. Part itself is cheap ( approx $10 in HD) but labor will get you (speaking from experience). Also, I'd check A/C unit -central vs in wall - central will be more expensive to fix/replace vs in wall unit that can be swapped out easily as DYI. Pay attention to electrical -check panel, outlets etc. Check the toilet/bathtub for any leaks.

I'm only using Ally for personal, inquired about business account, was told "no" so not even trying - not worth loosing an account.

Post: Is Warren worth it?

Hi all.

I was looking at Warren, Michigan, specifically area neighboring Buena Vista Estates. The area looks peaceful (sleepy almost, lol) - drove through it few times, with well maintained homes. I might be looking at the purchase of a rental in the vicinity of De La Salle Collegiate.

Any insight into feasibility? Prices seem to be going up, but I'm concerned with rising unemployment and crime in Warren itself (data from interwebs).

Any info would be appreciated.
