I’m a newbie in Cleveland Ohio. A friend and I want to learn the skills of buying and rehabbing ourselves. So my question is should we buy a super cheap property and learn how to rehab as we go or should we do an apprenticeship and get a formal education for it?

I'm a newbie and I plan to buy my first property soon but I wanted to know if getting an LLC is worth it? I'm in Cleveland Ohio.

@Suny Capezzuto thank you! I like Lakewood. In your opinion what would be a good place to house hack or a good market area in general for Cleveland?

@Suny Capezzuto I do not have my license yet I still have to pass the state exam. Right now I am staying in Lakewood which seems like a pretty nice area with younger people. What I want to do is house hack a duplex or triplex and I have friends who want to join in.
