What if I put the land in CRP and received rental payments from the government?

I would like to buy some cropland in WI and farm it with my IRA? If I set up a self directed IRA could I purchase the land with my IRA and pay someone to farm it and then put the proceeds back in the IRA when I sell the crops? Would this be a legal transaction? Thanks for any help on this. I would also be paying someone to harvest the crops.

Has anyone used this group for their SDIRALLC? Would you please share your experiences with me. Good and Bad

I am looking at doing a SDIRALLC on 100 acres that has just come up for sale. It is all farmland and I would be getting about $15000.00 Rent a year from it which would be put back into the IRA. Who do I trust to set this account up? What if my expenses are more than the amount that I put in the account. Can I transfer some more from my IRA? Thanks for any help anyone can give me on this subject. Pro and Cons?
