Post: Questions on a house hack

I find my self in a bit of a pickle. I've been screening for people to rent out rooms in my house but I'm not sure if i should have them sign a "Lease". I want to have clean documentation so the people renting know the rules and I have something to fall back on when I question is brought up.

I'm new to this. I looked on the forums for an answer to my question but nothing hit the mark.

I'm wondering, is it a good idea to have paper work, like a lease, if I'm just renting out a couple of rooms? If so, what are the differences between a regular lease and the paper work I would need?
