I have been attending American Military University for the past 6 months and I haven't figured out what I wanted to get my degree in. I saw they have an Associate's Degree in Real Estate Studies and I was wondering if anybody had any details about this degree. (If it would be worth getting)

@Loren Clive You own rental property over here in Hawaii or back in Georgia? I'm trying to get started but I don't know where to start. I feel like properties are too expensive over here but I can't buy any back home because I don't feel comfortable buying something I haven't looked at yet. I plan to use the VA loan as well for my first home. I'm just having trouble finding out how to get started living in Hawaii being brand new to investing.

My name is Dakota Soles and I am a new member as of 12/6/2016. I grew up in middle Georgia and lived there my whole life up until this past year. I am a 20 year old living on Hickam AFB in Hawaii. I joined the United States Air Force, and I have only been in for a little over a year. I joined this website in hopes of learning a little more about REI. I have no experience as of now, but am willing to learn as much as possible. I would like to start investing in the near future. Thank you everyone and I look forward to hearing from you.
