Thank you for your input! I used to work for a remodeling company and we had done 1 house many years ago that had lead paint and needed to be scraped. We had to wear suits, respirators, safety glasses, and gloves. And we had to catch all the paint chips with tarps and make sure we didn’t leave any chips on the ground anywhere. That house belonged to a church next door to it. But I don’t know how much it cost them to have us do that work.

Hello! I’m looking for some insight on lead paint. From what I understand, as long as it’s not peeling, you can just paint over it. I just want to verify that this statement is correct with people who have encountered it. And if it is peeling, about how much does it usually costs to scrape and repaint the entire interior of a 1000-1500 sq ft home? I know how serious lead paint is and that it’s really expensive to deal with, so I’ll probably only go into a situation with possible lead paint if nothing is peeling. (That is if the statement I made above is true) Thank you in advance for any insight on this!
