@Account Closed

Thank you for your advice! I never really thought of that before but I will give it a try and ask other real estate agents in the area for their opinion.

@Wayne Brooks

I saw some good reviews on them so I will give them a try and yes I think one week is just too short and I don't have much RE background.

@Robert G.

I was actually thinking about doing the online class since I've done online classes in college and I could manage it. Did you have a teacher that you could ask questions if you didn't understand something when you did it online? What school did you do your class online with?

Hey BP!

Well I'm looking to do the real estate course to get my license and I wanted to know what schools do you guys recommend here in Miami, FL? I've been looking to do it with Gold Coast but I'm not sure. Also, should I take the course for one full week Mon-Sun 9am-6pm or weeknights for 4 weeks? Some people have told me it's alot of information for one full week, what do you suggest?

@Bill Mitchell

Your friend can do real estate on a part time basis. I actually have a friend that he has always stayed with his full time job and did his real estate agent work on nights and weekends ever since 2000. I am actually looking to do this myself in the upcoming months. Good luck!

Thank you all for the input! Well it was just a goal I had set up when the new year started but these first months have gone by so fast. I will just extend the goal date but I definitely appreciate your ideas! I am anyways going to be getting my real estate license and wholesale for now so it gave me an idea of how long it will take me to start seeing profits.

Hello BP!

Well i wanted your idea and suggestions on a goal I have. I want to pay off a $7,000 loan in the next 5 months. If I were to use my money from my job to pay it off in 5 months I would have to use up my whole salary which isn't possible at the moment. So what should I do? Should I start wholesaling right now and possibly have a deal or two closed by then? Should I get my real estate license and sell houses? Any suggestions?

@Andres Calderon Thank you so much for your advice. Right now I am focusing on getting the right contracts and starting to look for deals first. Do you know of any good title companies or real estate attorneys that can create a good contract in miami?

@Joe Fairless I read your article and it was very helpful. I'll keep that in mind for my wholesale deals

@Edgar U. Thank you so much for the advice! Since I started getting interested in real estate I have definitely been noticing all the ugly houses on my way to work, friend's house, etc. I really like that idea instead of the direct mail idea that most people give. Don't get me wrong i'll try doing direct mail in the future but riding around looking at house is much more inexpensive and I like doing more hands on! Also do you have any local REIA you attend here in florida?? & how do you find buyers apart from putting it on your website?

@Ervin Alex I'm currently looking at the Miami area in general, mostly Hialeah or Hialeah Gardens maybe Kendall. But @Steven Stokes just gave me some insight on the Miami Beach area.

@Jon Holdman Thank you for the advice! That cleared my doubts about the tax situation.

@Steven Stokes Thank you so much for the advice! I surely didn't know the Miami Beach area is so competitive. I do know they are pretty expensive. I'm definitely going to look for investor and just learn the ropes.
