Thanks everyone for the support and invitations. I'm primarily interested in multi's to buy and holds that have good monthly cash flow. Greg ( both of you :) ) should give me a call. I just put my contact info up but my cell is 508-221-8422

Hello everyone, I wish I had found this site 20 years ago. My name is Tim and I've been investing in Massachusetts real estate the last 20 years and have seen quite a few ups and downs. I now live in central New York and am interested in entering the Syracuse real estate market. I presently own 8 units on Nantucket Island and manage those from afar. I've owned some of these properties for over 10 years. I have extensive experience in landlording and its problems and over the years have come up with quite a few personal tricks of the trade which I hope to add to the community over time as it's appropriate. I used to consider myself an expert in creative financing techniques as well as using the more conventional means of the banking industry. However, after the 2008 debacle I've been pretty busy just trying to hold on to what I have and have been fairly successful at doing so up to this point With the economy clearly on the upswing now though I've been feeling the need to re-examine how I'm holding the properties I have now, as well as how I can acquire some more properties. My situation however is quite complex to say the least and I could really use the advice of some seasoned investors in a less public forum. I think I have quite a bit to offer to the right team, I'm just not sure how I should be best applying my skills. Presently I have a great deal of time and expertise on my hands and I'm not quite sure what to be doing with it, as I'm in a totally new area and operating in an environment that is fairly foreign to me. Central NY investors are encouraged to contact me for, and with, advice. As is any other member of this forum. Thank you.
