Nick, Thanks for the welcome. @MatthewPetrovski I am certainly willing to look at surrounding areas. I'm guessing you might have some info to share? Please feel free to email at [email protected]. Thanks!

Hello BP.com! My name is Cyrus Sidhwa. I have previously only dabbled in real estate investing, but am now ready and determined to make it a full-time career. Although I have over ten years of successful sales and operations experience, I have reached a point where I realize that my passion is in real estate investing. Whereas both my current job and consulting role are things I force myself to do, learning about and being involved in real estate investing energizes me like no other business endeavor I have ever been a part of.

My Short Term Goals: Flip SFH's or small MFH's. Immediate goal is to a) purchase 1st property by end of Jan, 2014, b) complete rehab within 30-60 days, and c) close sale within 30-60 days of completing rehab. Prefer to work at least first few deals with more experienced partner/investor.

Primary target areas are Detroit and Houston. Although I live in San Diego, I have the flexibility to be on the ground in either area. More than willing to work in CA, but would really need a seasoned investor to lead the way.

Long Term: Continue to flip, but also begin to acquire multi-family units that have significant immediate equity and/or cash flow at least $100 per unit with a minimum cash flow of at least $800 per month.
