I really appreciate your replies and insight about vendor contribution to the meetings. After reading your points of view I need to give a little more information before I ask my next question. Some years ago I was the victim of fraud by vendors who were featured by a club and given a platform,  but were not vetted for sound business practices. Unfortunately there were quite a few other investors who were victims of these vendors also. Therefore I’m hesitant. Is there a local education group that thoroughly vets vendors? I would consider them if they did.  Thanks!I

Can someone tell me if there’s a meet up group or club in NW Houston, Texas that doesn’t have vendors promoting their products or services? I’m trying to find a group of pure real estate investors where I can network,  grow and contribute to help others do the same.
