Most of our tenants receive Section8 housing assistance. I contacted the head of our local housing department and learned that they will assist with short-term needs that a tenant may have due to layoffs. Tenants that can't make their rent co-share just need to contact the office and provide supporting documentation. We'll see how well this works in April.

thanks. We've been doing this since 2000. We built three of the 9 homes that we own.  Seabrook is about half way between Houston and Galveston. Most folk are familiar with small tourist tow. Kemah. We're across the bridge from kemah. We're having problems finding deals. We lose out to higher bidders. I've read numerous suggestions on bigger pockets for finding deals. Looking for something to pan out.

I read bigger pockets articles regularly. Our niche is single family homes. Most of our clients get section 8 assistance. We love it and have great tenants. Nine properties. Two of them are held by my LLC IRA. Bigger pockets of always full of food for thought. There isn't one right way, but it does take effort to determine what work for you!
