Post: Question about Online Brokerages

I just started working on getting my real estate license though RealEstateExpress.com.  Hoping to start part time at least at first.  I thought an online brokerage seems like a good idea.  I'm pretty tech savvy and that seems to be one of the benefits of Real (joinreal.com), but it ready their policies it sounds like you can't buy/sell your own properties more than once every 12 mos and they take a commission.  Is this standard for more brokerages or online brokerages?  Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with online brokerages?
