That small strip sharing the right of way is owned by a neighbor up the road and is a land-locked piece of ground.

I'm sorry, that is what I meant. A woman (over 20 years ago) had gotten the right of way granted so that she could build a home behind the one that I just purchased. The home was never built and she has passed.

I'm purchasing a home with a right-of-way running through the back yard. Is there a way to have this removed? It's not going to or from anywhere but is written in the deed.

I'm attempting to purchase a home at the end of a private lane and was told that I need a "Private Road Maintenance Agreement" or I won't be able to get a loan. Where do I get one of these? If I write my own, what all needs to be in it? Any direction in this matter would be appreciated.
