@Justin Phillips I'm only talking about using the HELOC to pay upfront for the property, then taking the mortgage out and getting the HELOC back, and repeating..

Looking to purchase first rental property.. I have about 50k equity in my primary residence, would you advise using that for the purchase of or down payment of your first property? Why or why not?
