I bought my first rental property 18 years ago when my grandma moved out of her house. It cost me 12000 and the best part about it was she was willing to finance everthing. I rented that house for 15 years and finally sold it for 60000 It was a great property that paid for itself many times over and taught me a great deal about the business.
