Hey Nathan! I know exactly how you feel. I am senior engineering student and I graduate this May. I really struggled my freshman year of college. I have always felt that “school” wasn’t for me. It has always been harder for me than my peers. On the other hand even though I have not enjoyed this experience it has changed who I am as a whole. It has changed the way I think, showed me what I DON’T want to do with my life, and open many doors for me already. Most importantly I have proven to myself that I can do anything I put my mind too.

I don’t plan on being a typical design engineer. As stated above you can do anything with an engineering degree!

I am working on getting my first RE deal now!

Hello everyone,

I have not done an introduction post yet so here is a quick one before I get into my question. I am a senior at the University of Kentucky studying Biosystems Engineering. I have been listening to BP for about a year and a half as well as occasionally reading through the form. Since I have been in college I have been living in crapy old frat houses within walking distance to campus because they are cheaper than apartments. But they are still pretty expensive compared to houses just 10 minutes down the road - that are way nicer. I have some savings from working as an Engineering intern for 2.5 years. I know I want to get into REI but I am not sure if I should go for it now or wait until I graduate. I have met with one of the top REI in my home county. He thinks I should spend this last year learning more but I would like to hear all your alls opinions too. My current lease is up July 31st so I have to figure out something soon. Also, I do have student loans and will have no help from family members on this endeavor.

So my question is: Should I try to buy something now or wait until I graduate in May 2021? 

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
