Looking at alternative ways to raise capital, I've inquired with a couple different companies about a HELOC on our personal property, but I'm curious what you all may have to offer up on here in regards to good institutions to inquire with that offer that type of loan? Thanks in advance for taking the time to read and reply. Hope you all have a great day

@Matthew Kerr best of luck friend, sounds like a great plan. You’re definitely in the right place, I’d suggest taking the time to just educate the heck out of yourself. It’s a process and you have so many great tools at your disposal through this site. Forums, blogs, educational guides, podcasts. You name it it’s here

@Kyle Wilkins good post! Kudos on getting going, I too am from Illinois, down South a ways, ya know the cornfield part LOL. I’m just getting going myself as well.

From all the research I've been doing a HML should work fine as long as the numbers are there. I wouldn't see why it wouldn't be a good way to get going provided you find a deal that works well with your numbers. I defer to someone with more experience in that arena though and hope you get someone that provides a more seasoned answer for you. Best of luck

@Jaron Walling that was my thought too. But she made a good point in if it gets turned off it’s more difficult to get turned on. I’d think there’d be a way I could include a cap amount in a lease, dollar wise? Or does that get too complicated to keep track of?
