Thanks so much @Jeff Lipple! I have a meeting scheduled with a broker in Bloomfield next week. I'll need to create a Facebook page once I get established and I will definitely be attending meetups. I really appreciate your taking the time to help me out.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome and advice! I just passed the exam this past Friday- that test is no joke!

Excited for the next step....

I just passed the exam this past Friday and now my next step is to find a broker willing to take me on as an independent contractor. I know it's not ideal for most brokers but hopefully I can find someone willing! 

I live in Rochester Hills, MI and currently work as a lab tech in Sterling Heights. Fortunately, my job affords me plenty of free time for computer/phone networking and I also welcome working as an agent for investors.

Thanks for the warm welcome, Trevor! @Account Closed and congrats on taking the plunge. I just finally came to the realization that there is no rule that says you have to do the same thing forever and I figured better do it now while I still have the courage!

Hello and good afternoon!

My name is Corrie and I am currently a healthcare professional in the process of pulling a career 180 and I'm very much looking forward to changing things up.

I am halfway through Kaplan's real estate course and I have a broker lined up for when I'm licensed. 

I just thought that I'd finally introduce myself after lurking for a few months and I'd also love the oppurtunity to network with any investors/agents in my area.
