Thanks Ned and John! I've been wanting to get into purchasing tax liens but I was worried that my money could get tied up for years in a bankruptcy. Your answers were super helpful. I'm going to go ahead and make the move!

For experienced tax lien investors, what percentage of your tax lien investments would you say wind up in bankruptcy? Is bankruptcy a big problem in lien investing or something that only happens rarely? When it has happened, were the debtors able to cram down your interest and if not, how did you prevent it?
