Hello everyone,

I will be taking the CA Brokers exam in 2-3 weeks at the San Diego location.   I am also signed up to take the Real Estate Trainers 2-day live Brokers exam prep course this weekend.  Does anyone have helpful tips about taking and passing the exam?  I would really appreciate any advice.

Thanks!

Corey F.

Thank you @Aaron Bae.  I have the required forms and application ready to go for the exam.  I am more looking for information about what I will need to have, or do after I get my license.  Like insurance, regulatory fees, memberships, registration, etc.

Thanks!

Hello Everyone,

I will sit for the CA Broker's exam some time this fall after I finish the course work required, and I am having a difficult time finding much information on what I will need to do, obtain, or maintain for the broker's license.  I have the required years of sales person experience and I wanted to go for Broke(rs) license for the benefits as an investors.  I do not plan on employing any agents or maintaining an office, as most of my transactions will be for personal investment.  Any advice or tips about the Broker's Exam and what to do after I pass it would be appreciated.   Thanks!

Thanks for the advice @Karen Margrave.  I definitely plan on working with licensed contractors to get real inspections and bids.

Hi @Jo-Ann Lapin.  For now I would like to stay closer to my own neck of the woods in North OC area.  The homes we are looking at, well we haven't been inside, but fingers crossed we hit a pot of gold and they aren't quite as bad as they look from the outside.:)

Thanks @Shannon Wright.  Let's keep in touch!

I am currently looking for an experienced flipper to partner with.  I would like to offer a % split in exchange for the opportunity to learn the business of rehabbing, as well as utilize their financial leverage and connections.  Anyone interested?

Hello,

I am wondering about the rehab costs.  I am narrowing the actual costs of repairs, but I was curious if the experienced flippers are spending an average on rehab costs for basically total rehab.
