hey everyone, I'm looking to purchase a 2 family in Boston and am looking for some input on where to find competitive rates. I've checked a number of websites, but I'm curious what banks and what rates folks are getting these days!

Thanks in advance

Wow! That's so interesting. Have you heard of any other landlords or property managers who've had tenants dealing with this?

It seems like it puts the landlord at much higher risk, so I wouldn't be surprised to hear landlords are trying their best to keep tenants away from the payment plan option.

Hi,

With recent legislation in Cincinatti and Seattle, certain landlords have to offer an installment payment plan for tenants to pay upfront costs. As a real estate investor myself, I am very curious to see if anyone has statistics or anecdotal estimates on what percentage of tenants actually use these payment plans? It seems like this may be something that more cities adopt, so I am trying to prepare in advance for when that happens. Thanks in advance!
