About five months ago, I stumbled across an app on my smartphone that tracks how much time I spend each day on my phone. I forgot about the app and never opened it since I installed it. A couple weeks ago I decided to open up that app and see my results.

I didn’t consider myself a phone addict at all. I was able to make it through 9 weeks of military training without even thinking about it. My initial thought was that I spent only 1.5 – 2 hours on my phone each day-I thought wrong!

I was spending 3 - 5.5 hours each day, with an average of 26.7 hours per week on my phone! I still managed to acquire those hours despite working a 40 hour per week job with strict no-phone policy. I feel ashamed saying this, but I spent on average: 9 Hours a week looking at Facebook photos and status. 7 hours taking “selfies” on snapchat. 5 Hours looking at ridiculous tweets from various celebrities on Twitter.

Instead of taking selfies and tweeting, I’m going to refinance my 26.7 hours each week by learning as much as I can about real estate. Considering my young age of 19, I sense the only way to earn respect and establish mutually beneficial connections is through knowledge and experience.

Anyways love the posts! Hopefully in the next 2-3 years I will be working with those of you in the Cincinnati and Dayton areas.
