Quote from @Shaquan Dennis:

How should I go about fInding someone to shadow or intern for?

That’s a good idea, Shaquan. I’ve heard from many sources that what you’re looking for is a great way to learn the ins and outs of a specific field.

Perhaps you could start by looking up local agencies in your area, and reaching out with an email or phone call. Better yet, find an inspiring agent you would like to shadow and contact them directly. Show that you’re eager to learn and can offer your skills or time to benefit them in their work life. Figure out what they need and help provide that for them, to paraphrase David Greene on the subject of shadowing a professional.

Let us know if you make any headway!

Own that last name @Sapir Simply. “Simply Sold”, “Simply Secured Realty”?!

Well gentlemen, let’s revisit the topic! How have things shaped up for you in the last 4+ years? Any new insights in investing in the region, or southern side of Georgian bay? (Simcoe/Grey counties)

Hello there BP users,
I’m looking to make some connections with people who have found some success working in the greater golden horseshoe of Ontario Canada. Specifically I’m looking at markets in the Simcoe and Grey county areas around the southern side of Georgian Bay. If you have any insight on the markets in this region I’d be keen to hear about your ventures in this thread. Perhaps we can partner together in the future.

Regards,
an eager investor

Thanks for the feedback, @Account Closed Thanks for your suggestions as well. I appreciate the blunt perspective. That's how I see things as well right now.

Hello fellow BP users, especially those fellows investing in Canada. It's been a crazy year in the real estate market as someone looking in from the outside. Congratulations if you have enjoyed some of the national average of 30% appreciation (from March 2020 to March 2021 according to the CREA) on any of your real estate investments. How are you interpreting this market, what types of REI have you found success in? What are your predictions for the future, and where would you consider investing capital now?

Kindly,
An eager investor
